About the Lusso
Lusso is the sensible middle of our bed frame range: a headboard high enough to lean against and to hold the wall, low enough to leave a picture or a pair of wall lights above it. The frame carries a modest upholstered border on each side, and the whole silhouette is drawn without trims, buttons or contrast detail. It is a shape chosen for how long you will live with it rather than how it photographs on day one.
Shown in bouclé ivory, though the plainness of the design means it takes almost any cloth well — a flat weave keeps it architectural, a velvet warms it considerably.
Order it with gas lift ottoman storage and it is built differently underneath. That version uses our solid ottoman base, made in two halves, giving a continuous surface beneath the mattress and a stronger internal storage compartment than a slatted lift. Note that the ottoman version measures slightly smaller overall, because the base sits flush with the mattress and the headboard runs down flush to the floor.
