About the Céline
Céline is drawn for real bedrooms. The frame is cut close to the mattress, adding only a few centimetres of upholstery to each side, so the bed takes up markedly less floor than most upholstered designs of the same mattress size. In a room where you still want to open a wardrobe door or walk past the foot end without turning sideways, that restraint matters more than any amount of styling.
What it does not skimp on is the headboard, which extends comfortably wider than the frame and gives the bed a proper sense of scale against the wall. The proportions do the decorating; there is no contrast piping, no trim, no applied detail. It is a plain, well-cut shape that takes colour extremely well.
Céline is upholstered to order in the fabric and colour of your choice, which makes it as easy to specify as a near-invisible neutral as it is to treat as the one strong colour in an otherwise pale room.
