About the Boucle Samples
Bouclé is a texture before it is a colour. The looped yarn gives the surface its soft, nubby grain and takes light in a matte, quiet way — exactly the quality that photography flattens. A sample is the only sensible way to judge it.
Take the swatch home and run a hand over it. See how the loop sits against your bedding and your flooring, then look at it twice, once in daylight and once under a lamp; bouclé reads warmer or cooler depending on how the light falls into the pile.
Expect a little variation. Each bed is upholstered individually and every fabric is cut from its own roll, so the finished piece can differ slightly in shade from the sample, and a colour usually looks deeper spread across a headboard than it does in the hand.
