About the Suki
The Suki is a winged bed: the headboard turns forward at each side to enclose the head of the mattress, and the panelling is drawn deep enough to read clearly from across a room. Contrast piping follows the outline of the headboard, the wings and the footboard, which keeps the shape defined however pale the upholstery is.
Ours is shown in plush velvet silver with white plush velvet piping, but the piping colour is yours to pick — white or black — and you can leave your choice as a note at checkout. Size, fabric and colour are all settled before anything is cut.
Ordered with gas-lift ottoman storage, the Suki is built on our solid ottoman base, made in two halves. That gives the mattress a continuous surface to rest on and makes the storage space beneath it stronger. The ottoman version measures slightly smaller overall, because the base sits flush with the mattress and the headboard sits flush to the floor.
