About the Ruby Luxe
Ruby Luxe is a quiet piece of theatre. The headboard rises well above pillow height and runs the full width of the bed, so the wall behind it stops being empty space and starts framing the room. The padding is deep and even, which is what gives the bed its soft, settled outline rather than a hard upholstered edge.
Nothing here is taken off a shelf. Each Ruby Luxe is made from scratch once you have ordered, to the size, fabric and colour you have chosen. Because it is handmade, no two are identical to the millimetre — worth knowing if you are fitting it into a tight alcove.
Order it with gas-lift ottoman storage and the bed is built on our solid ottoman base, made in two halves. The mattress rests on a continuous solid surface and the cavity underneath is stronger for it. The ottoman version measures slightly smaller overall, as the base sits flush with the mattress and the headboard sits flush to the floor.
