About the Penhurst Upholstered Bed
The Penhurst is an upholstered bed frame. With no storage in the base, the headboard is what gives it its character.
The Penhurst headboard
The headboard is a scrolled sleigh headboard and a matching rolled footboard, both deeply buttoned with crystal buttons. It is upholstered in the same cloth as the rest of the bed, so the bed arrives as one piece rather than a frame and a board that nearly match.
How it is built
This is a bed frame rather than a divan: the mattress sits down inside an upholstered surround, with the side rails and foot end finished in the same cloth as the headboard. There is no storage in the base, which keeps the lines low and lets the headboard do the work.

5 sizes, measured across the finished bed at its widest point:

- Double 4FT6 — 144 cm wide × 231 cm long

Delivery and what is included
Delivery is free within 50 miles of our Glasgow store and £50 beyond it. Mattresses are sold separately, so you can pair the Penhurst with whichever tension suits you.
