About the Mayfield Upholstered Bed
The Mayfield is an upholstered bed frame. With no storage in the base, the headboard is what gives it its character.
The Mayfield headboard
The headboard is wide vertical channels running the full height, carried along the side rail as well. It is upholstered in the same cloth as the rest of the bed, so the bed arrives as one piece rather than a frame and a board that nearly match.
How it is built
This is a bed frame rather than a divan: the mattress sits down inside an upholstered surround, with the side rails and foot end finished in the same cloth as the headboard. There is no storage in the base, which keeps the lines low and lets the headboard do the work.

5 sizes, measured across the finished bed at its widest point:
- Single 3FT — 109 cm wide × 212 cm long
- Small Double 4FT — 137 cm wide × 212 cm long
- Double 4FT6 — 155 cm wide × 212 cm long
- King 5FT — 170 cm wide × 222 cm long

Delivery and what is included
Delivery is free within 50 miles of our Glasgow store and £50 beyond it. Mattresses are sold separately, so you can pair the Mayfield with whichever tension suits you.
