Hampton Kids

Hampton is a child's bed made to adult standards. Nothing about the construction is scaled down except the dimensions: the frame is cut, the padding built up and the cloth worked over it by hand, then finished with a headboard 50 inches from the floor. The cloths are the same ones that go on our full-size beds, in the same range of colours, so nothing here is a child's version of the real thing.

Because we hold no beds in stock, a Hampton starts when you order one. You choose single or small double, then the fabric family and the colour, and it is made to that specification from scratch. The trade-off for that freedom is time, and a few millimetres of variation between one handmade bed and the next.

A Rio mattress in the matching size is supplied with the bed, so nothing else needs buying before the room can be used. Before ordering, check the stairs and the bedroom door as well as the floor space: a made-to-order bed is not something you want to discover will not turn on a landing.
