About the Bellagio
Bellagio is a bed built around height. The headboard stands a full 180cm in every size, so it fills the wall behind the pillows and gives a bedroom the sort of vertical anchor that mirrors and pictures usually have to work at. Everything below it is deliberately quieter, which lets the headboard carry the room on its own.
A headboard that tall used to be an argument with the staircase. Bellagio now comes split as standard: it arrives in sections that bolt together from behind once it is in the bedroom, and from the front the join cannot be seen. Nothing about the finished piece is compromised in order to get it up the stairs.
Each Bellagio is made from scratch after you order it — cut, upholstered and assembled in the size, fabric and colour you specify, rather than pulled from a warehouse. No two hand-built beds finish at exactly the same measurement, so check the room and the route into it and allow a small tolerance.
