About the Rushmere Kids Upholstered Ottoman Bed
The Rushmere is an upholstered ottoman bed built to a child's scale. Everything under the mattress is storage, which leaves the headboard to do the talking.
The Rushmere headboard
The headboard is broad vertical channels between two gently forward wings, with the side rail fluted to match. It is upholstered in the same cloth as the rest of the bed, so the bed arrives as one piece rather than a frame and a board that nearly match.
Storage under the whole bed
The mattress platform lifts on gas struts to open the full area beneath it as one lined compartment. Because the bed is a frame rather than a divan box, the sides are upholstered and shaped, so the storage is hidden entirely when the bed is closed.
Sizes
3 sizes, measured across the finished bed at its widest point:
- Single 3FT — 104 cm wide × 208 cm long
- Small Double 4FT — 127 cm wide × 208 cm long
- Double 4FT6 — 149 cm wide × 212 cm long
There is a full size guide on this page, with the bed drawn from the side and from above and every size shown to the same scale.
Choose your fabric
The Rushmere is upholstered to order in any of 26 colourways. Every part finished in cloth — the headboard, the base and the sides — is done in the fabric you pick.
Delivery and what is included
