About the Polly
Polly is generous by design. A double is as wide as a kingsize frame elsewhere in our range, because the upholstered surround is deep on all four sides and the mattress sits inside it rather than on top of it. Seen from the door the effect is of a bed sunk into cushioning: soft-edged, substantial, and plainly the main event in the room.
Scale like that asks for space, so it is worth checking the footprint below against your bedroom before ordering rather than after. The headboard is a comfortable height for sitting up in every size, so reading in bed does not mean building a wall of pillows behind you first.
