About the Ivorie
Ivorie is a straightforward, generous bed: a tall upholstered headboard, a clean base, and no ornament to argue with the rest of the room. The version photographed is finished in Plush Velvet Cream, though the fabric and colour are yours to choose alongside the size.
What sets it apart is how it gets into the house. The headboard is supplied split as standard and bolts together from the back once it is in the bedroom, so it can be carried up a staircase or turned on a tight landing without a struggle. Assembled, the join cannot be seen from the front. If access to your room is awkward, this is the detail worth reading twice — and it is still worth checking your doorways and stairs before you order.
Every Ivorie is made from scratch after the order comes in; none are held in stock. Handmade beds vary very slightly from one to the next, so treat the measurements as close rather than exact and allow a small tolerance.
