About the Oakley Upholstered Ottoman Bed
The Oakley is an upholstered ottoman bed. Everything under the mattress is storage, which leaves the headboard to do the talking.
The Oakley headboard
The headboard is narrow vertical channels inside a plain flat surround, with the side rail fluted to match. It is upholstered in the same cloth as the rest of the bed, so the bed arrives as one piece rather than a frame and a board that nearly match.
Storage under the whole bed
The mattress platform lifts on gas struts to open the full area beneath it as one lined compartment. Because the bed is a frame rather than a divan box, the sides are upholstered and shaped, so the storage is hidden entirely when the bed is closed.
