About the Lyla
Lyla keeps its surround tight to the mattress. Where a deeper frame adds several centimetres to each side, Lyla adds only a little — which makes it the sensible choice in a bedroom where the walk-past between bed and wardrobe is already narrow. What it does not compromise on is the headboard, which rises to full height and gives the bed its presence.
It is upholstered by hand once the order is placed. There is no stock version sitting in a warehouse waiting to be shipped, so the size, fabric and colour you settle on are the only ones that bed will ever wear.
Dimensions for double, kingsize and superking appear below, and they describe the frame rather than the mattress. As with any handmade piece, allow a small tolerance — and measure your access first: a frame that will not turn on a landing is an expensive problem to solve afterwards.
