About the Ava
Ava is fluted, but gently. Narrow vertical channels run the full height of the panel and are contained by a plain flat border, so the surface catches light down its length without turning into a statement. It is wide, too — the board carries on well past the mattress on both sides and behind the bedside tables.
The headboard sits a little lower than our tallest designs, which makes Ava a sensible choice in rooms with modest ceilings, a sloping eave or a picture rail to work around.
Each one is upholstered after you order it. The bed photographed is in plush velvet cream, where the fluting shows only as soft shadow lines; choose one of the deeper colours in the range and the same channels become far more graphic.
