About the Aurora
The Aurora is an upholstered bed reduced to its essentials: a tall headboard, an unbroken face, and no buttoning, piping or border to tie it to a particular decade. It gives a bedroom a clear vertical anchor while leaving the walls, the bedding and the artwork to carry the character of the room.
The bed photographed is finished in Lyon Dove. The wider fabric and colour range is open to you, and since nothing is held in stock, the size and finish are settled before a single panel is cut.
Undetailed upholstery leaves the making nowhere to hide: every seam and every line of tension across the headboard is on show, so each Aurora is built by hand for one customer rather than run off in batches. Because each is worked by hand, small variations between one bed and another are normal, so measure your room and allow a little tolerance.
