Wall Panel LED Lighting 06: white, remote, and no wiring work
This guide is about
Wall Panel LED Lighting 06 (6pcs)
Three of the LED packs in this category share one profile, 10mm wide and 9mm deep, so fit does not separate them. Wall Panel LED Lighting 06 (6pcs) is the plainest of the three: white light, a remote, and nothing to wire.
Three packs, one profile
| Pack | Profile | Light | Control | Install as described |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 02 | 10mm x 9mm | Multi-colour LED | Remote | Strip to transformer, transformer to mains |
| 04 | 10mm x 9mm | White LED | Application | Transformer and plug not provided |
| 06 | 10mm x 9mm | White LED | Remote | Strip to transformer, transformer to mains |
Read across that table and the choice is clear enough. If you want colour, it is Pack 02. If the lighting is being wired in properly by an electrician and you want phone control, it is Pack 04, and you will be buying a transformer and a plug separately. For white light out of the box with a handset, it is this one.
What Pack 06 holds
- Six strips per pack: two of 60cm, two of 90cm, two of 150cm.
- Profile 10mm wide by 9mm deep.
- White LED.
- Remote control, for brightness and colour adjustment.
- No trim.
- Strip to transformer, transformer to mains, installation instructions provided.
- Code AWS-AS013.
This page does not agree with itself in two places. The description mentions colour adjustment on the remote while the specification lists the light as white, and the opening paragraph offers a choice of warm or white while the specification again says white. Both read like sentences a supplier copies between products, so ask the shop what this pack actually does before you order if it matters to you. No body colour is stated here either, and the first cover image is flagged as an AI generated visual.
What white LED does not tell you
There is no kelvin figure, so white is unquantified. It could read cool or neutral, and the page gives nobody the grounds to say which. If a particular tone is important, two routes are open: ask for a photograph of this strip lit against a board like yours, or look at Pack 03, whose specification lists warm or white rather than white alone, though on a wider 13mm profile.
Working out how far six strips reach
Add the lengths and a box holds 6m of lit line. That total is not the useful number though, because the strips are fixed lengths and the listing says nothing about cutting or joining them. The useful exercise is this:
- Draw the wall and mark every line you want lit, by board joint, shelf or edge.
- Write the length of each one.
- Match them to what the box actually contains: two at 60cm, two at 90cm, two at 150cm.
- Anything that does not match a stocked length either needs a different layout or the cut-to-length strips in Pack 07.
Doing that on paper takes ten minutes and saves ordering a second box for one awkward run.
Before you order
Measure the narrowest point of the gap the strip has to sit in, and decide where the transformer will live while the boards are still off the wall. The rest of the options are on the Panel Lighting page. Putting the lighting on the same order as the boards keeps it to one set of measurements to check. Delivery is free within 50 miles of the Glasgow store and £50 beyond. The figures and photographs are on the Wall Panel LED Lighting 06 (6pcs) page.
