Wall Panel 92B Grey: the brackets and trims to order with it
This guide is about
Wall Panel 92B - Grey - Outdoor - 240cm - (1 pack / 12pcs)
A cladding order that only contains cladding is usually an incomplete order. Wall Panel 92B - Grey - Outdoor - 240cm, code AWS-OWP92B, is explicit about this: its description says complementary trim pieces are sold separately, and that brackets are recommended for installation. Both are named on the listing, and neither is in the pack.
The two parts the listing names
They are real products rather than a general suggestion, so you can count and order them:
| Part | Pack | What the listing says |
|---|---|---|
| Wall Panel 92 Trim - 240cm | 10 per pack | Named as the trim for this panel, sold separately |
| Bracket For Outdoor Panels 73/83/84/92 | 50 per pack | Brackets recommended for installation |
The trim is listed at the same 240cm as the panel, which means one trim length finishes one panel edge without a joint. The brackets cover several panel series, 92 among them, which is why the title carries four numbers.
The question the listing does not answer
How many brackets a panel takes. No fixing centres are published, no fixings-per-panel figure is given, and nothing states whether the brackets go to a masonry wall directly or to a batten frame. Fifty in a pack is a quantity, not a specification. Before you order, put a straight question to the shop: how many brackets per panel at what spacing, and what they fix into. That one answer turns a guess into a parts list, and it is far cheaper to ask than to find out two walls in.
Counting the panels themselves
The panel figures are published and consistent. Each panel is listed at 16 x 240 x 1.2cm, twelve come in a pack, and a pack covers 4.61m². Sixteen centimetres across a 240cm length is 0.384m², and twelve of those make the quoted 4.61m², so the coverage figure is the one to divide your wall area by. The face is described with a 2.4cm slat width and a 1.4cm space between slats. As with most of this range the three dimensions are printed unlabelled, so confirm which figure is the cover width with the shop before a cutting list is drawn up.
Where grey works, and the honest gaps
Grey sits comfortably against render, grey aluminium frames and most modern paving, and it is the harder choice next to warm red brick. Beyond the colour name the listing offers very little: the material is given as engineered composite, UV resistant, with textured slats, without naming the polymer or stating any wood content, and there is no fire rating, no weight and no cleaning instruction. The warmer and darker options in the same profile are Wall Panel 92A - Oak - Outdoor - 240cm and Wall Panel 92D - Dark Oak - Outdoor - 240cm, both on the same figures, so a change of mind about colour does not change the quantities.
A sensible order
Area first, in whole packs. Then trims, counted from the open edges and corners on a sketch rather than from memory. Then brackets, on the shop's answer about spacing. Ordering all three together is the difference between fitting on the day the panels arrive and waiting on a second parcel.
