Wall Panel 02WK White Marble: pack coverage and wall fit
This guide is about
Wall Panel 02WK - White Marble - Acoustic - 280cm - (1 pack / 3pcs)
The Wall Panel 02WK in White Marble is a slatted acoustic panel supplied in packs of three, and the figure that sets it apart is its height. Each panel is 280cm, where most of the slat and acoustic panel range is 240cm. On a wall above 240cm that extra height is the difference between one clean full-height run and a horizontal join across the face.
The figures from the listing
| Detail | As listed |
|---|---|
| Panel size | 60 x 280 x 1.7cm per panel |
| Pieces per pack | 3 |
| Area covered | 5.04m² per pack |
| Slat width | 3.5cm |
| Space between slats | 1.5cm |
| Trim named | Wall Panel PVC Trim Acoustic |
The listing describes HDF slats on a felt backing, with a white marble finish. Read the panel size as width, then height, then thickness: 60cm wide, 280cm tall, standing 1.7cm off the wall. The slat width and the gap add up to a 5cm repeat, and 5cm divides into a 60cm panel twelve times exactly, so the rhythm should carry across a joint without a part slat at the seam. Confirm that with the shop if your layout depends on it.
How much wall one pack covers
Three panels at 60cm wide give 1.8m of wall width at full height. Plan in those units, because the panels are sold by the pack:
- Wall up to 1.8m wide: one pack
- Wall up to 3.6m wide: two packs
- Wall up to 5.4m wide: three packs
The 5.04m² quoted is the face area of the three panels, not an allowance for waste. A panel cut around a socket, a window reveal or the return of a chimney breast still uses a whole panel, so count panels across the wall rather than dividing your wall area by 5.04.
Measuring before you order
- Measure the wall width at skirting height and again near the ceiling. Few rooms are square, and the wider of the two readings decides the panel count.
- Measure floor to ceiling in at least three places. Below 280cm the panels get cut down; above it you need a join, so plan where it falls.
- Decide whether the run starts tight in a corner or on a centre line, then work out what width of panel lands at the far end. A narrow sliver at the end of a feature wall is worth designing out before you order.
- Allow for the 1.7cm the finished face sits proud of the wall where it meets an architrave, a radiator or a skirting return.
What it goes with
The same white marble face is offered on the 240cm, four-panel format as the Wall Panel 01WK White Marble, which is the one to look at for a standard ceiling height. If you want the 280cm height in a calmer face, the Wall Panel 02WA in Oak and the Wall Panel 02WO in Grey Marble share the pack size, the slat width and the spacing. The listing names a matching trim, Wall Panel PVC Trim Acoustic, which finishes the cut edges; trims are sold in their own lengths, so check the length you order covers a 280cm panel edge, and browse the panel trims and fittings range for end and corner profiles. Adhesive for Wall Panels is sold separately.
What the listing does not say
No sound absorption figure is quoted: no coefficient, no test standard, no rating. Treat it as felt-backed slatted panelling that takes some of the hardness out of a bare room, not as a measured acoustic treatment. The listing also gives no panel weight, no fire rating, no felt colour, no fixing method, and it does not state whether the marble face is a printed finish or a veneer. If any of those decide the job, and particularly if you are working to a specification in a commercial room, ask the shop before you order. Ask for the current lead time at the same time.
If the height and the pack maths suit your wall, order the Wall Panel 02WK White Marble acoustic pack on its product page, where the photographs are the most honest guide to how the marble face reads at arm's length. Delivery is free within 50 miles of our Glasgow store and £50 beyond.
