Wall Panel 01WK White Marble: 240cm fit, coverage and trim
This guide is about
Wall Panel 01WK - White Marble - Acoustic - 240cm - (1 pack / 4pcs)
Wall Panel 01WK - White Marble is an acoustic slat panel with a white marble finish, listed at 60 x 240 x 1.5cm per panel, four panels to a pack and 5.76m² of coverage. The slats are 2.5cm wide with 1.5cm between them, over HDF slats on a felt backing. It sits in the Slat & Acoustic Panels range under the code AWS-WP021.
240cm or 280cm: settle it before you order
This panel is cut at 240cm. If your wall is taller, you have three options and only one of them is easy to change later: a horizontal break with a trim across it, a painted band above the panelling, or the longer panel. The same white marble finish is listed at the longer length as Wall Panel 02WK - White Marble - 280cm, which comes three pieces to a pack. Three panels cover a different area from four, so ask for its coverage per pack before you work out quantities rather than reusing the figures here.
Measure floor to ceiling in at least three places first. A couple of millimetres of run-out across a room is normal, and it is what decides where a cut can hide.
Working out the packs
Each panel is 0.6m wide. Divide the wall width by 0.6, round up, and that is the panel count; divide by four for packs.
| Wall width | Panels at 0.6m wide | Packs of 4 |
|---|---|---|
| 1.2m | 2 | 1 |
| 2.4m | 4 | 1 |
| 3.0m | 5 | 2 |
| 4.2m | 7 | 2 |
| 4.8m | 8 | 2 |
The 5.76m² per pack figure assumes the full 240cm height is panelled. If you are stopping at a dado line or above a worktop, count panels and cut lengths instead: four part-height panels still arrive as a pack of four, and the offcuts are not usually wide enough to make up a panel elsewhere.
What the white marble finish is, and what to ask about it
The construction the listing gives is HDF slats on a felt backing, so the marble here is a finish rather than stone. What the listing does not say is how the pattern is applied, or whether the veining repeats panel to panel, and with a marble look that is the thing most worth asking. A pattern that restarts at every 60cm panel reads very differently from one that carries across a wall. Ask the shop to confirm the repeat, and if you can, see two panels beside each other before you commit a whole wall to it.
Trim, adhesive and the acoustic question
This listing names a matching finishing piece, the Wall Panel PVC Trim Acoustic. It is a separate line and is not in the pack of four, so add it to the order if a cut edge or a corner will be on show, and ask for it by that name; the listing does not say which junctions it is meant for, so ask that too. Adhesive for Wall Panels is also sold on its own; the panel listing states no fixing method, so ask what is recommended for your wall build-up.
On sound, the description says the felt backing absorbs sound and reduces noise transmission, but gives no figure: no NRC, no αw value, no test standard. If a room has a performance target, ask for the manufacturer's data rather than assuming a slat panel will meet it.
What it pairs with
For the same marble idea with a warmer line through it, Wall Panel 01WX - Gold and White Marble is the closest panel in the range. For a bathroom or a splashback, the flat board version Wall Panel 011A - White Marble Wall Board is the one whose listing mentions moisture resistance and names those rooms; a slatted panel with open gaps is a different proposition there, so ask which is right for the wall you have in mind.
