Wall Panel 07A White Marble: coverage, joints and strips
This guide is about
Wall Panel 07A - White Marble - Wall Board - 240cm - (1 pack / 4pcs)
Wall Panel 07A in white marble is a flat PVC wall board the shop supplies, four panels to a pack at 60 x 240 x 0.7cm, covering 5.76m². It is a different animal from the slatted panels in the same part of the range: thin, smooth, jointed together with a tongue and groove, and intended to read as one continuous surface rather than as a texture.

Four boards 0.6m wide by 2.4m tall is 5.76m², so the coverage holds. Read the size as width, length and thickness; 0.7cm is thin enough that it matters where the board meets a door architrave or a window reveal, so check that detail on site before ordering.
How the tongue and groove changes the job
Each board slots into the next, which is what produces the continuous surface and also what fixes your direction of travel. Three consequences worth knowing:
- You work one way across the wall. Start at the corner you want to be perfect and run towards the end you can trim. You cannot easily drop a board into the middle of a finished run later.
- The last board is nearly always cut down the length. That cut removes the groove or the tongue, which is exactly what the end strip is for.
- The wall needs to be reasonably flat. A thin board over a hollow will flex and the joint line will show. The listing does not state any requirement for the substrate, so ask the shop what it wants behind it.
The strips are not optional extras
This is the part of a marble-effect board order that gets missed. The listing names a whole family of finishing pieces, and they do different jobs: the PVC Strip B in matching white marble closes an exposed edge in the same pattern, the Aluminium End Strip does the same job as a deliberate metal line in black, gold or silver, the corner strips turn an external or internal corner cleanly, and the Aluminium I Strip joins two boards face to face where you want a visible division rather than a hidden joint.
Note that the PVC strips here are coded WP 07/11, which means they are shared with the 011 wall boards as well as the 07 range. If you are panelling two areas in related patterns, that shared strip is worth asking about. Work out how many metres of edge, corner and top you have before you order, because strips come in packs of their own and a missing one stops a job.
What the listing does and does not claim
The description says the PVC resists moisture, is easy to clean, and suggests kitchens, bathrooms and feature walls. What it does not give is any rating behind that: no moisture or water rating, no fire rating, nothing about use inside a shower enclosure or directly behind a hob, and no stated temperature limit. Those are exactly the questions to put to the shop, because "suitable for bathrooms" and "suitable for the wet area of a shower" are not the same claim.
Also absent: the fixing method, whether the boards can be cut with a hand saw or need a fine blade, the pattern repeat, and whether the marble pattern runs in one direction. The shop supplies adhesive for wall panels, but this product's listing does not name it as the fixing, so confirm it first.
The related boards
If white is too stark for the room, 07B Grey Marble is the same board and pack format in grey, and 07D Gold and White Marble is the gold and white version of the same board in the same size and pack count; the listings do not describe either pattern, so compare the photographs. 011A White Marble is the two-piece pack in the 011 system, which shares the WP 07/11 strips; check its panel size on its own page, as the pack count differs. All of them sit in Slat & Acoustic Panels, alongside the slatted options if you decide you want texture after all.
Count your boards and your strips, then order from the Wall Panel 07A - White Marble - Wall Board page, where the shop can confirm the fixing, the strips and the current lead time. Delivery is free within 50 miles of our Glasgow store and £50 beyond.
