Corner Strip WP 07/11: matching eight finishes to your panel
This guide is about
Corner Strip - WP 07/11 - 240cm - (1 pack / 4pcs)
A marble-effect panel turning a corner is the hardest thing to get right on a panelled wall. The pattern does not continue round the angle, the two cut edges meet, and the eye goes straight to it. The Corner Strip for WP 07/11 exists to settle that corner in the same finish as the panel, so the turn reads as a deliberate line rather than a seam.
Eight finishes, each tied to a panel code
This is the detail that makes the strip worth buying from the same place as the boards. The finishes are not a generic colour chart. Each one names the panel it belongs to:
| Finish | Listed for panel |
|---|---|
| A, white marble | 07A and 11A |
| B, grey marble | 07B and 11B |
| C, gold and black marble | 11C |
| D, gold and white marble | 11D |
| E, mix grey marble | 07E |
| F, gold and grey marble | 07F |
| M, cream | 07M |
| T, walnut | 07W |
Write your panel code on your hand before you open the finish list. A grey marble and a mix grey marble are not interchangeable, and the difference is obvious once two metres of it runs up a corner in daylight.
The dimensions, and the pack size to confirm
Each trim is listed as 0.9 x 3 x 240cm. The 240cm is the length; of the other two figures, 3cm is the larger face and 0.9cm the smaller, though the listing does not label which is which, so confirm it if a precise reveal matters to you.
The pack is stated as four pieces, both in the product name and in the description, which gives you 9.6 metres of corner. The web address for this product carries a different pack figure, inherited from an older code. Four is what the listing says. If you are ordering to a tight quantity, have the shop confirm the pack contents on the day.
How far a pack goes on a real corner
At 240cm a single piece covers a standard ceiling height with very little to spare, so budget one full length per corner and do not plan on getting two corners out of one strip. Four pieces therefore means four corners, so count yours before you order: a chimney breast on its own normally accounts for two of them. Measure your corner at the top and at the bottom: if the longer reading is over 240cm, this profile will not run the full height in one piece and you need a different plan before you order.
Before you add it to the basket
The listing does not state the fixing method or whether the strip can be cut with a knife rather than a saw. It also publishes no pattern-matching tolerance, which matters on a marble effect: two pieces from different batches may not read identically side by side. Ask the shop about both.
The matching parts for the same panels
The same panel codes are served along a join by the Strip B for WP 07/11, and the boards themselves are held with the bracket for PVC wall panels. Both sit in Trims & Fittings, next to the boards in Wall Panelling. Delivery is free within 50 miles of the Glasgow store and £50 beyond.
Check your panel letter, count your corners, then order the Corner Strip for WP 07/11 in the finish that matches.
