About the Chelsea
Chelsea is a divan for people who care what the bed is wearing. The shape is deliberately straightforward — upholstered base, upright headboard — which leaves the fabric and colour to set the tone, whether you want the bed to disappear quietly into a pale scheme or to anchor a darker, heavier one.
Because each Chelsea is made after the order comes in, there is no trade-off between the size you need and the finish you wanted. Choose the size, choose the fabric, choose the colour; the bed is then built to that specification and to no other, by hand.
The headboard comes at a standard height, with a taller version available if the bed sits low in a tall room. Full dimensions for double, king and super king are listed below — accurate to within a few millimetres, which is as close as handwork gets.
