About the Belle Divan
The Belle is a divan in the traditional sense: a solid upholstered base built to a footprint barely wider than the mattress it carries. In a room where floor space is the real constraint — a box room, a loft conversion, a guest room that also has to take a wardrobe — that restraint counts for more than any amount of styling.
The sides are upholstered in the fabric and colour you choose, so the base is properly finished rather than merely functional, and the bed keeps a low, quiet line against the wall. It is an easy piece to live with and an easy one to build a room around.
Every Belle Divan is handcrafted after the order is placed, to your specification. Because each one is worked by hand, sizes vary by a few millimetres from bed to bed, so allow a little tolerance when you measure the space it has to go into.
